Newsweek Names Dort Financial Credit Union One of America’s Best Regional Credit Unions

Dort Financial Credit Union has been named one of America’s Best Regional Credit Unions by Newsweek. The credit union received a four-star ranking among 250 other credit unions nationally.

For the first time, Plant-A Insights Group and Newsweek partnered to determine America’s Best Regional Banks and Credit Unions in 2024. The study analyzed all 9,440 regional banks and credit unions in the United States.

Dort Financial Credit Union was one of 28 banks and credit unions in the state of Michigan to receive the recognition from Newsweek.

Plant-A Insights Group surveyed of over 35,000 individuals and included over 140,000 reviews of regional banks and credit unions.

Plant-A Insights also evaluated Dort Financial, and all of the credit unions based on a set of parameters covering various aspects such as profitability, financial relevance, risk exposures to financial uncertainties and overall health and stability of the financial institution.
