July 5: Flint Local 432’s Local Fest
Get ready for Flint Local 432’s biggest event of the year—Local Fest! This annual festival brings together the heart and soul of Flint’s music and arts community for an unforgettable day of celebration.

July 14: Whaley Golf Classic
The Whaley Golf Classic is on Monday, July 14, 2025. The event will take place at Warwick Hills and will feature fun on-course games, as well as a silent auction. The funds raised from this event will go towards supporting the needs of the children in Whaley Children’s Center’s care. Don’t miss this chance to have fun, network, and make a difference.

July 29: Hurley Children’s Hospital’s Night At The Movies
Hosted by Hurley Foundation, join movie-lovers for some pre-movie fun and games and then head into the Hurley private theater to enjoy ‘Shrek the Third’ while enjoying a special concession box! Proceeds benefit the endowment fund for Child and Family Life at Hurley Foundation benefiting Hurley Children’s Hospital. Visit here for more.

August 3: Special Days Camp
Special Days Camp is a one-week, residential camp program available to any child who had or currently has cancer. Special Days Camp gives these youngsters a chance to be “just kids” and experience the fun of traditional summer camp with an experienced team of oncology doctors and nurses standing by. Dort Financial Credit Union is thrilled to be a part of this experience, and encourage others to get involved or donate if you can. You can learn more here.
