January 25^th: YMCA of Greater Flint’s Annual Fundraising Gala: A Night At The Races

Save the date for the kick-off of fundraising for the Partner with Youth Campaign at the 16th Annual Fundraising Auction on January 25, 2025. This year’s theme will be “A Night at the Races.”  All proceeds from this event provide financial assistance to families in the community so that they may experience the YMCA. Join the Flint Firebirds in the Fight to End Hunger!
The Flint Firebirds will be collecting non-perishable food donations in exchange for free admission to their January 3rd and 10th matchups at the Dort Financial Center. Fans can donate five food items to qualify for a free ticket. Items can be dropped off at the Dort Financial Center during business hours, in the days leading up to the events. Dort Financial Credit Union is a proud sponsor of this event, and we encourage all members to commit to end hunger in our communities.

February 7^th – 9^th : Back to the Bricks Chrome and Ice Winter Indoor Car Show
Dort Financial Credit Union is once again  proud to be the brought to you by sponsor this winter car show. The 10th Annual Chrome & Ice™ will be a three day event, February 7-9, 2025, and will feature an amazing collection of cars. Plus, it will feature classic, and custom vehicles, sports cars, muscle cars, hot rods, and trucks in the two arenas and on the mezzanine. With more than 50 sponsors and automotive-related vendor displays, demonstrations, concessions, live entertainment, it will be a good time for all. Dort Financial $2,000 Student Scholarship Program
The credit union movement was founded on the philosophy of “People Helping People”. In keeping with our philosophy, Dort Financial Credit Union’s student scholarship program was established to help our members achieve their higher educational goals. We are offering fifteen (15) $2,000 scholarships this year to graduating high school seniors or older students seeking to further their education after high school. Applications are accepted now to March 7, 2025.
