Be cautious of phone calls, texts, or emails claiming to be from Dort Financial’s fraud department or related merchants. We will never ask for your online banking password, card CVV or full card number, PIN, to approve fraudulent transactions, or to share one-time passcodes over the phone. Our communication also will not include links requesting you to use them. If you receive a suspicious request, hang up immediately and call us at 800-521-3796.
A: The initial login will be your member number as your username and the last 4 digits of your SSN/Tax ID as your password. If you are logging in for the first time through the mobile app, make sure to select “Signup” and then enter your initial login credentials.
A: Your member number is the 6-digit number you’re given at account opening.
Your full account number can be found in online or mobile banking by clicking on the checking account title, then click Account Details. The MICR or ACH number is the full account number. This is the number you will need for direct deposit or automatic payments you want to come out of your checking account
A: The routing number is 272479919.
A: Personal information can be updated in online or mobile banking by clicking on My Settings. You will need to enter your current password when making changes to any of your information.
A: When logged into mobile banking click More, then click the Settings gear icon. Click Fingerprint or Face ID. Toggle the switch to on.
A: Log into your online banking account from a computer browser. Select “My Settings”, scroll to the bottom of the page under “Other settings” and select “Rename and Hide your accounts”. Here you can enter new titles for your accounts that will only be visible to you. Also, if you remove the checkbox to the right of the listed account, it will no longer show up on the My Accounts screen. To add the account to view, just click to place a check mark in the box. Select “Go to My Accounts” to return to the My Accounts page.
A: When logged into online banking, go to Additional Services, and click on Text Banking & Alerts. Please note that Alerts are not sent real time. They are sent within 24 hours of the transaction clearing your account.
A: Yes. Select “More” and then select “eStatements” from the list provided. If this is your first time accessing your eStatements, it will ask you to accept our electronic disclosure which will enroll you in the service and stop the mailing of paper statements. Once you opt-in, click on the menu at the top left of the screen, select “Monthly Statements” and then “PDF statement”. You can filter by last 6 or 12 months and you can select the month you are looking for by clicking on month’s name in blue.
A: Yes. As long as your name is listed as primary on the external account, you may link your other financial institution to your Dort online banking and transfer into your Dort account with no transfer fee. These transfers take three business days. To link an outside account, login to online or mobile banking. If you are linking accounts through your computer browser, hover over “Move Money” and select “External Transfer” from the drop-down menu. From the “Create Transfer” screen, select the blue link to “Add a New Account”. Enter the required information. You will need to verify the other account by receiving two small deposits and verifying the amounts through the “Accounts” screen in External Transfer, or with a real-time verification by logging into your other institution’s online banking when prompted (not all institutions can be real-time verified). Once your account is linked, visit the “External Transfer” option, and choose your other account in the “from” tab and your Dort account in the “to” tab, enter the amount and frequency of transfer. Before selecting review, the system will show you the date your transfer is expected to reach your Dort account.
If you are setting it up in mobile banking, click on the “More” tab at the bottom right of the screen, then select “External Transfer” from the list provided and follow the same steps.
A: You can place a temporary debit card or credit card block by logging into the mobile app. Select “More” then click “Mobile Card Management”. You will have the option to report your card lost or stolen or turn your card(s) on or off. Selecting “Turn Plastic Cards On/Off” will give you the option to toggle your debit or credit cards on and off. It will show “OFF” in a red when the card is off and “ON” in a green when the card is turned on. For more card controls, please download our Dort Card Controls App which can be accessed at the top of the “More” section in mobile banking.
A: Yes. If a joint owner on your account does not have their own primary membership with us, you can share online banking access by logging into online banking on the full site. Once you (the primary account holder) are logged in, hover over “Additional Services” select “Share access with others”. Enter the joint owners full name, phone number, and email address. You can select from the list which accounts the joint owner will have access to. Or select “Grant full access to all accounts”. Once you save this information, the joint owner will get an email from Dort Financial with a temporary username and password. Note: Shared access users cannot use the mobile app. They must login through a browser on the full site.
If your joint owner has their own primary membership, they can use their member number and last 4 of their SSN to sign up for online banking. They will have full access to any accounts with their name on them (including the joint account).
A: Yes. This can be done on both our mobile app and from online banking on a web browser. Log into online banking and hover over the “Move Money” tab and select “Express Pay”. Or log into mobile banking, click on “More” and select “Express Pay”. Once you are in Express Pay, you will see your Dort loan accounts. For recurring payments, select “Setup AutoPay” and for one-time payments select “Pay Now”. There is no fee on recurring payments and a $2 fee for one-time payments. When you select “Pay Now”, you will be able to pay with a debit card or account and routing number. Payments made before 5pm will be applied to the loan account by the end of the business day, payments applied after 5pm will be applied the following business day.
A: You can pay up to $1,500 per transaction. If your monthly payment is more than $1,500, it is a best practice is to set up recurring payments or split your payment up to pay a portion more frequently than once per month.
