Dort Financial $2,000 Student Scholarship Program
The credit union movement was founded on the philosophy of “People Helping People”. In keeping with our philosophy, Dort Financial Credit Union’s student scholarship program was established to help our members achieve their higher educational goals. We are offering fifteen (15) $2,000 scholarships this year to graduating high school seniors or older students seeking to further their education after high school. Applications are accepted now to March 7, 2025.

December 7^th – YMCA of Greater Flint’s Santa Run
The YMCA’s Santa Run is coming to town! This annual event in downtown Flint features hundreds of runners and walkers alike dressed as Santa Claus. Dort members can receive $5 off entry with code DORT. Register at the link here.

Christmas Fun for Everyone!
Have a holly jolly Christmas this year in your community! From lighted parades and winter walks, to tree lightings and festivals, there are so many holiday activities for families to enjoy in December. Dort Financial is proud to sponsor several Christmas events, including: Grand Blanc Winterfest,  Orion Lighted Christmas Parade, and many more listed below!

Join the Flint Firebirds in the Fight to End Hunger!
The Flint Firebirds will be collecting non-perishable food donations in exchange for free admission to their January 3rd and 10th matchups at the Dort Financial Center. Fans can donate five food items to qualify for a free ticket. Items can be dropped off at the Dort Financial Center during business hours, in the days leading up to the events. Dort Financial Credit Union is a proud sponsor of this event, and we encourage all members to commit to end hunger in our communities.
