May 16th – Dort Financial Shred Day
This year, Dort Financial is hosting one Shred Day at the Pierson Rd. and State Rd, locations on Saturday, May 16th from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Members can bring their personal documents to be shredded for free, including up to four standard-sized boxes. Please be mindful of the content you bring to be shredded, and avoid any metal or plastic/photo materials.

May 28th-30th – Swartz Creek Hometown Days

May 29th- Hurley Children’s Hospital Bowl-A-Thon
Hurley Foundation, in partnership with Dort Financial Credit Union will host the annual Bowlathon alongside our friends at Colonial Lanes in Flushing. This spectacular event helps to support life saving-equipment and programs at Hurley Children’s Hospital. You can learn more here.

June 25th-26th – Hurley Children’s Hospital Radiothon
This two-day event, presented by Dort Financial Credit Union, is broadcast on Townsquare Media Flint stations including CARS108, Club 93.7, and Banana 101.5. During the event, Hurley miracle families share their journey at Hurley Children’s Hospital with the listening audience to raise awareness and much needed funding for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals programs at Hurley Foundation.

June 27th- Independence Township’s Independence Fest
It’s our Nation’s birthday and you can celebrate it close to home. Purchase tasty goodies on-site, shop local crafters and watch awesome live entertainment. Bring lawn chairs and blankets for your comfort and enjoy one of the best parts of our community, Clintonwood Park! Stay through the evening and enjoy the awesome fireworks display!
