January 3rd & 7th- Firebirds Fight Hunger Benefitting the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan
Bring and donate a minimum of 5 non-perishable food items and receive a FREE ticket to that night’s game, courtesy of our game night sponsors & supporters. Drop offs will begin the week of each event at the Dort Financial Center box office. Dort Financial Credit Union has proudly sponsored these games, along with Kroger and Sysco!

Dort Financial Credit Union’s Annual Student Scholarship
What Is the $2,000 Dort Financial Credit Union Student Scholarship? The credit union movement was founded on the philosophy of “People Helping People”. In keeping with our philosophy, Dort Financial Credit Union’s Student Scholarship Program was established to help our members achieve their higher educational goals. We are offering fifteen (15) $2,000 scholarships this year to graduating high school seniors or older students seeking to further their education after high school. Applications will be accepted from October 2025, to March 6, 2026. Learn more here.

February 13th- 15th: Back to the Bricks “Chrome & Ice” Brought to you by Dort Financial
The 11th Annual Chrome & Ice™ will be a three-day Winter Indoor Car event, February 13th – 15th, 2026 held at the Dort Financial Center in Flint MI.
The lobby will have an impressive display of home-built rides, “For the LOVE of Cars”. There will be a featured display on the ICE, and more to come.
Classic and custom vehicles, sports cars, muscle cars, hot rods, and trucks will be featured in the two arenas, the hallways, and around the mezzanine. With more than 50 sponsors and automotive-related vendor displays, demonstrations, concessions, live entertainment, and a chance to attend the VIP Experience is going to be an ALL-NEW experience, a tribute to love and a FUND-Raising Time helping to fuel the Scholarship Fund!
