2025 Annual Snowman Sales
Help us raise funds for our chosen charities this winter by purchasing a paper snowman at all locations. Last year, thanks to our credit union and team members, we raised more than $49,000!
This year’s charities are Garrett’s Place (Burton, MI), Carriage Town Ministries (Flint, MI), Blessed Paws Animal Rescue ( Lake Worth, FL), and Speak Up for Kids (West Palm Beach, FL).

Dort Financial Credit Unions’ Annual Student Scholarship
What Is the $2,000 Dort Financial Credit Union Student Scholarship? The credit union movement was founded on the philosophy of “People Helping People”. In keeping with our philosophy, Dort Financial Credit Union’s Student Scholarship Program was established to help our members achieve their higher educational goals. We are offering fifteen (15) $2,000 scholarships this year to graduating high school seniors or older students seeking to further their education after high school. December 4th- 5th – Hurley Children’s Hospitals CMN Radiothon
Big news — the Let’s Make Miracles Radiothon to benefit Hurley Children’s Hospital is back with new dates, LIVE on CARS 108!
December 4 & 5 — two incredible days of hope, heart, and healing as our community comes together to make miracles happen for the hospital’s littlest patients.
Tune in, share the love, and help us change lives — one miracle at a time!

December 6th – YMCA of Great Flint Annual Santa Run
The Annual YMCA Santa Run is a combination of 5K Fun Run/Walk or 1-Mile Walk through Downtown Flint and the beautiful Cultural Center! Included in your registration is a five piece Santa Suit and finisher medal. Have fun bringing joy to your community with the 2025 Santa Run!
This event raises money for the YMCA of Greater Flint scholarship assistance program. This fund provides assistance to youth and families in our community so that they may participate in YMCA programs. You can sign up here. https://flintymca.com/santarun/

December 13th – Flint Firebirds Old News Boys Toy Drive
Donate a toy with a recommended minimum value of $10 and get a FREE ticket to the game, courtesy of Dort Financial Credit Union & LJ Inc
The Firebirds will be wearing a specialty jerseys during gameplay and there will be a live jersey auction following the conclusion of the game, benefitting the Old Newsboys of Flint.

January 3rd & 7th- Firebirds Fight Hunger Benefitting the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan
Bring and donate a minimum of 5 non-perishable food items and receive a FREE ticket to that night’s game, courtesy of our game night sponsors & supporters. Drop offs will begin the week of each event at the Dort Financial Center box office. Dort Financial Credit Union has proudly sponsored these games, along with Kroger and Sysco!
