March 1^st – Food Bank of Eastern Michigan – Feeding Frenzy Radiothon

The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan’s “Feeding Frenzy” Radiothon is taking place THIS FRIDAY! For 12 full hours (7am to 7pm) the food bank will be taking over the airwaves and encouraging listeners to help fight hunger. Our friends at 103.9 The FOX will be interviewing guests on air and giving away prizes to wonderful donors! Gifts can be made via telephone by calling the Kroger Hunger Hotline at (810) 732-4175 or by visiting FBEM.org.

March 21^st – 22^nd – Genesee County Sheriff’s EDGE Event (Educate, Defend, Guard the Elderly)

Register today for the 2024 EDGE – Educate, Defend, and Guard the Elderly event, presented by the Genesee County Sheriff’s Department. Professionals working with older adults will be exposed to the cruel truths of elder abuse. Highlights include criminal investigations, financial exploitation risks, and substance abuse affecting older adults and the whole family. Use this link to register now! To continue the GCSO’s decades-long commitment to older and vulnerable adults they have added ANOTHER day to the EDGE event. If you’re an older adult or care for an older adult you are encouraged to join  on Friday, March 22, 2024. There will be resources and workshops throughout the day. Friday is FREE TO THE PUBLIC thanks to generous sponsors.

March 30^th –  Davison Township Parks & Recreation Bunny Trail Egg Hunt

The Davison Township Parks and Recreation have some fun prizes and activities planned for this year’s Bunny Trail Egg Hunt! Easter is early this year, so reserve your spot before the date hops on by. And don’t forget, your furry friend is also invited to collect their own set of special dog Easter eggs.
