Autumn leaves will soon be falling, children will be headed back to classrooms, and Dort Financial team members will be celebrating Fall all season long at these upcoming community events!
September 16th, Shred Day at the Pierson Rd. Dort Financial Branch
This year we are hosting a day for community members to shred their personal documents and paper items for free, at the Pierson Rd. Dort Financial location, 5091 W. Pierson Rd. from 10:00am – 1:00pm. Personal and financial document shredding is a convenient and safe way to make sure your items remain secure and don’t get in the wrong hands. Members even have the opportunity to watch their items being shredded via a live feed from the shred truck. Please make sure your boxes only contain paper items and we ask that you be courteous of other members and bring only four boxes of items to shred.
September 14th– 15th, Let’s Make Miracles Radiothon on CARS 108
Presented by Dort Financial, the Let’s Make Miracles Radiothon introduces you to the families you are helping heal at Hurley Children’s Hospital.
With your support, we can provide families miracles, whether they are from Mid-Michigan, the Thumb or Northern Michigan. Whatever your hospital of choice, when you need more – you need an expert – you need hope or a miracle – there is only one Children’s Miracle Network Hospital north of Flint to rely on.
Families want you to know how a CMN Hospital has changed their lives and how we all have to come together to make sure that kind of medical expertise is available for the next child who needs it. It could be a child you love.

October 7th, Dort Financial Family Night with the Flint Firebirds
We are eager to host Family Night with the Flint Firebirds on Saturday, October 7th at 7:00p.m. at the Dort Financial Center!
All Dort Financial Credit Union members are invited to join us for an entertaining evening of hockey and family fun. Members, and up to three guests, may reserve FREE tickets for the matchup, as the Flint Firebirds return for another season in the Ontario Hockey League at the Dort Financial Center in Flint. Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to receive a limited edition Flint Firebirds and Dort Financial promo item and discounts on concessions.
Tickets are available beginning Monday, September 18th, when members show proof of membership to reserve their tickets at the Dort Financial Center box office during hours of operation. Tickets are limited and a sell out is expected. All attendees are responsible for covering the cost of parking.
