March 18th, Shiawassee County Chamber of Commerce’s St. Patty’s 5K
The mid-morning run starts and ends at the Fitness Coliseum in Owosso, and features a route along the Shiawassee River. Runners are encouraged to stick around after the race for entertainment, food, and drinks for a basketball watch party. Those who sign up by March 10th also receive a race jersey. March 17th– 26th , and April 1st Flint Township Presents “The Bunny Trail”
This annual egg hunt returns to Flint Township featuring an interactive bunny trail map with a chance to win cool prizes at local businesses. Children 12 and under may compete in this fun adventure along with a parent, visiting local businesses and stores on a mission to find Easter eggs. New this year, “egg hunt eggstravanganza” will be coming to the Genesee Valley Center on Saturday, April 1st to wrap up this event from Flint Township. For more information please visit here.
April 23rd, The Humane Society of Genesee County’s Paws on Parade Brunch
The Genesee County Humane Society is once again hosting their annual Paws on Parade Brunch. Community members may attend this charity event, with proceeds benefitting the shelter. For more information please visit here.
